CINEMÁSCORTO - Tanda 2

This December, CineMásCorto continues its mission of bringing Puerto Rican cinema to the big screen with a second lineup as bold and diverse as the first. Seven short films by local filmmakers take over theaters in San Juan, and Mayagüez, exploring identity, dystopian futures, inner battles, loss, creative chaos, and apocalypse. One unique chance to discover new voices, new visions—and new obsessions. What you’ll see: • A Doll’s House: Through dollhouses and recycled objects, artist Alfonso Muñoz Alma reimagines Puerto Rico’s visual culture, placing LGBTQIA+ figures and Puerto Rican women into traditionally male-dominated spaces. A powerful reflection on identity, memory, and inclusion. • Tomorrow: A human is abducted to continue the capitalist cycle… on another planet. A chilling dystopia where exploitation knows no planetary limits. • La Última Copa: A man loses control of his life due to alcoholism, spiraling toward rock bottom. A raw journey of self-destruction, regret, and the fragile hope of redemption. • El Corte Final: Two fearless warriors face each other in a deadly duel. With every strike, the end draws closer—until only one delivers the final cut. • Una Tacita de Café: A grandson keeps postponing time with his grandmother… until it’s almost too late. When he finally returns, Alzheimer has changed everything. A tender story about love, memory, and lost time. • Lio en un Lío: Lio, a young film student, must deliver his final script to graduate. Desperate for inspiration, he instead finds himself trapped in one mess after another—and in creative chaos. • Dead Zone - Apocalypse: Six years later, the virus returns—different and more dangerous. Survivors unite to stop secret experiments meant to create the perfect soldier on private islands tied to powerful interests. The apocalypse is far from over.Short filmPT1H30MNR2025-12-20
