Nació Simón

Nació Simón explores Caribbean drag culture not only as entertainment, but also as an artistic expression of freedom, self-expression, and resistance within Puerto Rico's conservative landscape. Lis, a nonbinary mother of two and beloved drag king performer known as Simón, faces the shutdown of nightlife during the COVID-19 pandemic and begins questioning what Simón means to their identity. Over time, they discover that validation and a sense of self go beyond a costume. DocumentalPT1H10MNR2026-10-08
