During their final week of high school, lifelong best friends Alex and Ethan come up with a wild plan to escape rumors and get closer to their crushes: pretend to be trans women. What begins as a joke quickly becomes more complicated when Ethan starts to question her identity and realizes the experience may reflect a deeper truth. Amid parties, friendships, and the chaos of adolescence, the film turns a provocative premise into a story about identity, belonging, and personal growth. Directed by Siobhan McCarthy and created by a predominantly trans and queer team, the film blends over-the-top humor with a sharp commentary on masculinity, prejudice, and the need for representation.
